TREE TOPS IN THE MOUNTAINS
Tree Tops cabin is a beautiful log home located between Dillsboro and Franklin in the gated Watauga Vista community. There are hiking trails throughout the community. The home has a spacious Great Room with tongue and groove cathedral ceilings throughout with a gas log stove (fall and winter use). The well-appointed kitchen offers granite countertops with microwave, dishwasher, and gas stove.
The cabin affords beautiful long-range views with a wrap-around deck and plenty of chairs to enjoy the view. A picnic table on the deck offers the opportunity to enjoy a meal while savoring the view. There is satellite TV, WIFI and great cell reception.
Easy access even at a cool 3400 foot elevation with magnificent long range views of the ridge of the Appalachian trail. Central air/heat .
3br/2bath. 1 king in master upstairs, 1 queen, 2 twins. Small pets allowed with deposit.
RUNAWAY CREEK LOG CABIN
Run Away Creek Cabin is an amazing rustic log cabin set on swift-flowing Burningtown Creek. Be it a romantic getaway or a family event, surrounded by nature you can relax on the deck in the rockers and enjoy the creek, or float down the creek on your inner-tube. There is also a creek-side deck with table and chairs. The cabin offers most everything you might need to create the perfect getaway, including a garden tub upstairs with plenty of windows to continue to enjoy the creek-side view.
This nicely furnished and well-appointed cabin offers a warm inviting, comfortable living room with a great wood-burning fireplace for those cool evenings. The dining area also has a high chair, and the well-appointed kitchen offers a dishwasher, microwave over stove/oven and a Keureg coffee maker. Master BR on the main floor with King bed, 2 bedrooms upstairs one with 1 Queen bed (and crib), and the other with 4 Twin beds.
Satellite TV - sorry NO PETS. One thing about the fishing, you must purchase a North Carolina fishing license. Fishing here is catch and release only. Sorry, NO WIFI.
GAIL'S RETREAT AT FENNO HILL
Gail's Retreat is a lovely, spacious 2BR, 2.5BA cabin. Nicely furnished great room with a remote controlled fireplace. The kitchen has a Microwave, stove and everything you need to prepare a meal. There is a mountain view from the front covered deck with plenty of chairs to sit and enjoy the beautiful mountain scene or enjoy a meal at the picnic table.
Lower level has a Recreation room with futon, satellite TV, mini-air hockey table, pool table, plus other games.
WIFI is available. There is also a fire pit to gather around with the family. Outdoor lower level also a great Bar-b-Que Grill and more chairs to enjoy the view.
VIEW FROM THE TOP CABIN
This little cabin is a Green River Cabin which is private and secluded. It affords amazing long-range views as it sits at the top of Hickory Gap Road. The cabin has tongue and groove ceilings and walls and offers satellite TV, and high speed WIFI. The cabin has a small but well-appointed kitchen, and a dining area that can seat 4. The Master Bedroom off the main room has a full size bed. Additionally, there is a TV room, that has been added to the cabin, which has couch that folds out to queen size bed and its own full bath.
There is a door to close to the main part of the cabin making it a nice suite. There is also a futon in the main room (primarily for use by children). There is a fire pit to gather around in the evenings with the family.
There is NO cell service here, but a land line is available for local calls - please use a Credit Card for long distance. Great WIFI.
BEAR'S DEN CHALET
This is an A-frame cabin with a great view. It has 3BR/2BA. Two bedrooms downstairs with queen-size beds and a trip up the spiral staircase takes you to the loft with a double bed. The comfortable Living Room with great vaulted ceiling, has a flat screen TV with cable service, DVD player, as well as a gas fireplace for those wonderful cool evenings. Cabin has Central Heat/Air.
The well-appointed kitchen has a microwave, coffee maker, stove, refrigerator. There is a deck with picnic table to enjoy a nice meal and the marvelous view. There is an additional deck off the front of the cabin with rockers to further enjoy the view. Cabin also has a firepit. WIFI available. Washer/Dryer are in the basement.
This great property has the added benefit of being close to town! Sorry, NO PETS.
HONEY'S HEN HOUSE
This is a great little cabin. The upstairs portion of the cabin has a wonderful little kitchen with a microwave, coffee maker, dishwasher and everything you might need to create a great meal. It has a small dining area and a Living Room with comfortable furniture and a great flat screen TV. Just off the living room is an enclosed porch with chairs to relax and enjoy the view. Just down the hall are 3 bedrooms - all with queen-sized beds - one of which seconds as the laundry area.
Downstairs has a wonderful little rumpus room with an air hockey table, comfortable furniture and another flat screen TV. A short walk down the hall has 2 additional bedrooms with queen-sized beds and a bathroom. This little cabin has central heat and air, outside has a gas Bar-b-Que grill and a fire pit for family gatherings.
LADY SLIPPER LODGE
A park like setting of over an acre of nature’s beauty. Wildflowers and flowering trees a-plenty adorn this 2 bedroom cabin that has a separate laundry room building with a carport and a party pavilion for cookouts. The kitchen is well-stocked with everything you need to prepare meals in or cookout on the grill. The bathroom is stocked with salon quality shampoo and conditioner and there are handmade artisan soaps in a variety of scents from Left and Main. The cabin comfortably sleeps 4 people and an additional sectional couch for one more adult or two small children.
Located 6 miles from the town of Franklin in the beautiful Smoky Mountains. This cozy cabin is a five minute walk to the Hickory Knoll Creek and 1 ½ miles to the Little Tennessee River.
